About EPCAM

The European Research Centre for Political Culture Analysis and Modelling (EPCAM) is an academic research, teaching and know-how unit, with European and interdisciplinary vocation, which aims at analyzing and modelling the political attitudes toward democracy in the context of migration, terrorism and corruption phenomena in Europe, analyzing and modelling the European political cultures, as well as analyzing and modelling the Eastern European post-communist regimes facing the difficult processes of transition to democracy or democratic consolidation. As an institutional-building action anticipated by the foundation in 2012 of the Eastern-European Research Group on Political Attitudes and Mentalities (EPAM), the European Research Centre for Political Culture Analysis and Modelling has been born from the desire of its founding members – professors and researchers from Romania and from several European universities – to create the first pan-European academic research institutional structure for the modelling of European political cultures.
