Dr. Ioana Borza este absolventă de ştiințe politce la Universitatea Babeş Bolyai Cluj-Napoca. Absolventă a Masteratului de Gen şi Politici Publice (SNSPA), Ioana Borza a obținut titlul de doctor în ştiințe politice în 2009, sub coordonarea doamnei prof. dr. Mihaela Miroiu (SNSPA) cu o lucrare pe tema instituționalizării egalității de gen în România. A colaborat cu organizații neguvernamentale feministe în România (AnA şi Filia) şi europene (European Women's Lobby), cu autorități publice din Romania (CNCD, ANES), dar şi de la nivel european (Parlamentul European, Consiliul Europei şi Institutul European pentru Egalitate de Gen). Lucrează în domeniul politicilor pentru promovarea egalității de gen de mai bine de 10 ani, în care a elaborat cercetări, studii de caz, analize, rapoarte administrative, instituționale, dar şi articole academice.

Dezbaterile sunt destinate studenților de la Masterul Politicile egalităţii de şanse în context românesc şi european (MPES) şi sunt deschise tuturor studenților FSPUB interesați.

UNICEF



Cristina BADEA is Education Officer and Gender Focal Point at UNICEF Romania. She holds a doctoral degree in political science and an MA in Political Sociology and Philosophy from Paris 7 Denis Diderot University. She previously worked as counsellor for equal opportunities to the National Agency for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, as well as project manager and expert in gender studies for different Romanian NGOs. Her main interest points include gender studies, public policies and international development.

Luminița COSTACHE is Education Specialist at UNICEF Romania and has 25 years of experience in organizational and project management, consultancy, sociological research and training. Currently, she is coordinating UNICEF initiatives promoting early education, school attendance and access to inclusive and quality education for all children. Within UNICEF, for which she has been working since 2007, she has also coordinated initiatives on the social inclusion of the most vulnerable children. An alumna of the University of Bucharest, she holds degrees in sociology and project management.

The event is organized with the support of support of UNICEF Romania and the Centre for International Cooperation and Development Studies (IDC) of the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bucharest (FSPUB) as part of the professional seminars within the faculty’s MA program in International Public Affairs (MIPA).

The event takes place in English and it is open exclusively to students of the MIPA program. FSPUB students specializing in EU affairs outside the MIPA program may also attend.

La Faculté de Sciences Politiques (FSPUB) de l’Université de Bucarest, le Centre d’études sur les politiques de l’égalité des chances (CPES) de la même faculté, le CEREFREA Villa Noël, l’Ambassade de France en Roumanie et l’Institut Français de Roumanie vous invitent à la rencontre-débat avec Armelle Danet et Claire Guiraud autour des « Enjeux de la parité. Pour une réelle égalité de genre en politique ».

Evénement en français, un interprète français-roumain-français sera présent pour les non-francophones.



Armelle Danet, ancienne cadre dans l’industrie informatique, est aujourd’hui membre associée de la commission «Parité » du Haut Conseil à l’Egalité entre les femmes et les hommes. Elle est également vice-présidente de l’association « Elles aussi », un réseau pluraliste d’associations de femmes d’origines très diverses, au rayonnement à la fois national et régional, se rassemblant autour d’un objectif commun : la parité dans toutes les instances élues. Elle est à ce titre membre du Conseil d’Administration de la Coordination Française pour le Lobby Européen des Femmes (CLEF) et du groupe de travail « Women in politics » du Lobby Européen des Femmes (CLEF).

Claire Guiraud, diplômée de l’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, licenciée en anthropologie et ethnologie, militante féministe, et après une expérience en conseil en stratégie et organisation des entreprises, elle a été chargée de mission égalité femmes-hommes pour la ville de Ris-Orangis (département de l’Essonne), avant de rejoindre le Haut Conseil à l’Egalité entre les femmes et les hommes en tant que responsable des études et de la communication entre 2013 et 2015. Claire Guiraud a ensuite été conseillère en charge des droits des femmes aux cabinets de Pascale Boistard, Secrétaire d’Etat chargée des droits des femmes, puis de Laurence Rossignol, Ministre des familles, de l’enfance et des droits des femmes. Depuis novembre 2016, elle est Secrétaire générale du Haut Conseil à l’Egalité entre les femmes et les hommes, l'instance nationale consultative indépendante chargée des droits des femmes et de l’égalité femmes-hommes en France.

Tana FOARFĂ is Director of the Europuls organisation, a leading think-tank on EU affairs in Brussels and Romania. She holds a BA in Political Science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and an MA degree in European Studies from KU Leuven, where she specialized in EU External Relations. During her undegraduate studies she was first member and then the head of the ULB Delegation to the International Model NATO, Washington D.C., where she received an Outstanding Award for her activity in the North Atlantic Council. During her graduate studies she researched the implementation of the EULEX mission in Kosovo and the EU-Tunisia relations, formulating policy recommendations for the upcoming EU Global Strategy for Foreign and Security Policy launched shortly after she completed her work on the topic. Her main areas of expertise are electoral mechanisms, election processes, and EU foreign and security policy. She is also known for providing training and organizing professional workshops on EU decision-making institutions. Since 2017 she works at the Learning and Development Unit of the Directorate-General of Human Resources and Security, within the European Commission.

A UNIVERSITY OF BUCHAREST ALUMNUS VIEW ON "BRUSSELS"

The European Commission

Dan Valeriu DIONISIE is a graduate of the first generation of students of the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Bucharest (class of 1995). Since October 2016, he leads the Economic analysis and evaluation unit at DG Justice and Consumers, which develops the economic evidence that underpins justice, consumer, equality and fundamental rights policies of the European Commission. He joined the Commission in 2012 as Head of Unit for Consumer markets at DG Health and Consumers, in charge with monitoring consumer conditions in the EU's Internal Market and researching consumer behaviour with a view to inform European policies. Among others, his Unit elaborates the EU Consumer Scoreboards, which assess the performance of over 50 consumer markets and benchmark the consumer environment in different countries, and pioneered behavioural research to inform EU policies. The evidence produced by his Unit has informed key policies of the Commission, in particular linked to the Digital Single Market and the New Deal for Consumers. Before joining the Commission, he had a career with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at national and international level, during which he dealt among others with inter-agency coordination, policy development, institutional reform, democratic governance, public administration, anti-corruption. Before the UNDP, Dan worked as a foreign affairs expert at the Presidency of Romania and as teaching assistant in political science at the University of Bucharest. He has a dual academic background, in political science and in computer engineering.

[11/10/2018] Masă rotundă - Unirea din 1918: Momente de istorie reală şi segmente de istorie contrafactuală

Joi, 11 octombrie 2018, începând cu orele 10.00, în sediul din strada Spiru Haret nr. 8 al Facultăţii de Ştiinţe Politice a Universităţii din Bucureşti (FSPUB), sala Negulescu (parter) va avea loc masa rotundă cu tema „Unirea din 1918: Momente de istorie reală şi segmente de istorie contrafactuală”.

Evenimentul se desfăşoară în cadrul Programului Centenarului Marii Uniri de la 1918 la Universitatea din Bucureşti.

Vor prezenta comunicări, având ca numitor comun sintagma „ce s-ar fi întâmplat dacă....?”, studenţi, cadre didactice şi cercetători din Bucureşti, Braşov şi Cluj-Napoca. După prezentarea comunicărilor urmează discuţii libere (tema principală a acestora fiind, în mod firesc, cea a valorii, utilităţii şi limitelor istoriei contrafactuale, privită ca instrument de explorare şi de înţelegere a istoriei universale şi româneşti).

Iulia GHIȚĂ is the project manager and outreach ambassador for the Europuls organisation. She manages the major projects of the association such as the European affairs annual forum Eurosfat and the Civil Society Support Platform for the Preparation of the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council in 2019- RO2019. An alumna of the University of Bucharest in the field of International Relations and European Studies, she also holds a Master degree in Political Science at the Free University of Brussels, specializing in Peace and Conflict studies. Currently, her main areas of interest are health, sustainable development and social policies.
