Sala B (8, Spiru Haret), October 29th, 12:00

The Political Science Club (formerly known as The SPE Nation Club) continues its series of events with a new concept: Propaganda Cartoons. This time, we will watch a series of vintage cartoons covering the ideological war between national socialism, Soviet communism, and liberal democracy - one point of view at a time. Between screenings, we will discuss and debate  the way in which "the enemy" is portrayed and the effectiveness of the message, as well as the relevance of the film within the contemporary political landscape.

Some of the titles include "Make Mine Freedom", "Capitalist Sharks - Prophets and Lessons", "Fascist Barbarians - A Lesson Not Learned", "Education for Death - The Making of the Nazi", "Der Fuehrer's Face", "Nimbus" and "Der Storenfried".

The Political Science Club, an initiative of the FSPUB students from the English language study programmes. All students are welcomed at the Club's public events.

The Political Science Club does not own any of the materials projected, as they belong to the respective owners.
